My son's sealed 2 12s sounds really good with some music not so good with others and I'm trying to understand why so I don't waste money on the wrong size. Thanks

I have 4 kicker solo x 18"s. In a suburban xlt. Box comes to the back of the front seats. I use to have 8 but the sound quality is way better with 4. My spl isnt as high but i only lost a time amount uet with four in the huge cabinet it feel like it hit way harder than the 8. Funny what emgineered speak spec boxes can do for you

I was 21 in 1987 when i built my first pickup truck bass cabinet bed ive been Pushin 150db plus systems for over 35 years. I lost my hearing in 2023 bc of this glutinous hobby. Take care of your ears, friend. Atleast i can still feel my system but it doesnt hit the same. It just causes me pain now.

I've been running a jp 13 for over a solid year on top of my underseat sub box seat sits right on top of it with some spacers and hasn't given me any issues yet I hear the fan always on but doesn't get hot.

What I still don't understand. Is if I'm running 6 speakers that are 200 watts rms, do I multiply the 200 by 6 and that mean I need a 1200 watt amp? Or do I still only need about a 400 watt amp? Cause seems like to me if I have one 1200 watt amp feeding them 6 speakers. Then all 6 will be getting 1200 watts. When they only can handle 200 rms and 400 max. I just can't figure it out.
